An almost windless, overcast day at Richmond Bank looked perfect for Gulling and so it proved.Three and a half hours with GT prduced a raft of Iceland-"types".
Highlight was a 3rdw Kumliens Gull, whcih although rather distant, showed decent grey markings in the primaries.Also present were 9 Iceland Gulls, two adults, 3rdw, four 2ndw and two 1stw.
Just one 1stw Yellow-legged Gull was picked out.Good numbers of argentatus Herring Gulls were present but low numbers of LBBs.
